Girton Golf Club

Girton Golf Club is a well presented, fairly flat, parkland course on the outskirts of Cambridge presenting the golfer with a testing 18 holes of pleasant golfing landscape. Whilst not a long course the tight tree lined fairways will give any standard of golfer a good test of their skills and the small but immaculate greens will enable putting capabilities to shine, or otherwise.

We boast a really friendly and open membership of around 600 plus playing members with a strong team of PGA professionals to coach and support both members and visitors. There is a fully stocked Pro-shop plus a highly spec’d indoor swing studio to enable 24 x 7 coaching no matter what the weather. On fair days our extensive practice field can be used by members for warm ups and practice and the coaches for lessons.

Our modern club house delivers great food and beverages and hosts many social events during the year and is used by companies for meetings and conferences, local groups and societies for meetings and meals and individuals for parties and lunches.

We welcome visiting societies and green fee payers and have a close relationship with an excellent local hotel for guests requiring overnight stays, plus they offer discounts for Girton Golf Club visitors.

Girton Golf Club is a members club, run by members with all surplus funds being reinvested into the course and facilities. Established in 1936 the club has grown and developed over the years to become an egalitarian no nonsense golfing establishment for people who enjoy their golf.
